One of Pandora's best kept secrets is their Bicester Village Outlet store. Okay, it's not a secret, but a lot of Pandora fans don't know about it. In this article we will uncover the secret and provide some information and tips to help your Pandora shopping experience.
Bicester Village is located just an hour from London. "Is it really worth a visit?" My answer: Yes!
Of course the first shop any Pandora fan will want to visit at Biscester Village is the Pandora store. At my visit to the Pandora store I spoke to one of the shop assistants, Jodie, who helped answer some questions. I entered the store a few minutes after 9am on a Tuesday morning. I thought that visiting the store on a weekday would mean it would be less busy. I was wrong. By 9:15 the queue had reached the door! Jodie informed me that as many tourists visit Biscester village it is busy every day. The best time to visit the Pandora store is after 6 or 7pm. Alternatively you could try to be the first to enter at 9am sharp! If you are not sure what you are going to buy I recommend you definitely visit after 6pm. The store isn't as big as many of Pandora's high street stores and rather than browse around the store, you have to wait in line until you are able to speak to an assistant.
With this in mind as well as the fact you may not live near Biscester Village, some may ask, "Is it really worth a visit?" My answer: yes!
Much of the stock are retired items with the exception of the bracelets. When I looked through the charms selection I noticed many had been in the UK Summer sale. The prices at the outlet store were cheaper than the Summer sale reductions. For example the Cozy Cat charm (No. 790595) had the RRP of £30 then in the UK Summer sale was available for £15. Pandora Biscester is currently selling it for £5. The Kangaroo with Baby Charm (No. 790534) had the RRP of £20 and was available in the UK Summer sale for £10. Pandora Biscester is currently selling it for £5. A good time to visit Pandora Biscester would be just after either the Summer or Winter sales when there would be more in stock.
With rings from just £10, it's time to start stacking!
As well as charms the Pandora Biscester store also sells rings, earrings and necklaces. The rings are priced from as little as £10 (including those shown in photograph). Perfect if you want to start a stacking ring collection. Many of the larger statement rings are also available from around £20 upwards.
If you have been tempted to start using your existing openwork charms as earrings the compose earring hook and barrel set are only £10 for the set. A fantastic price as the RRP for the Barrel (No. 291002) alone was £10 and many of the hooks RRP was £15-20. Other earrings are also available in the Biscester store starting from £20.
If you want to start a new bracelet or buy one as a gift there are some tempting offers. Online or on the high street a Pandora 'starter bracelet' (bracelet and charm and/or clips set) costs from £99. The Moments bracelet (No. 590702HV) alone has the RRP of £55. At Pandora Biscester you can buy starter bracelets for well under these prices. For example the Moments bracelet with a Symbol of Freedom Dove (RRP £25) pendant charm (No. 791350CZ) is £55. The Moments bracelet with other dangles is £75.
At Pandora Bicester, dreams can come true...
If you feel like a new style, the Moments Oxidised bracelet (No. 590702OX) is £55 on the high street but just £35 at Pandora Biscester. The Moments Bangle (No. 590713) is available for £45. If you are interested in buying a Two Tone Moments bracelet (No. 590702HG) there is a fantastic offer available. The RRP for the Two Tone bracelet is £275 but for the same price at Pandora Biscester you can buy the Two Tone bracelet, two clips and a Two Tone charm!
A relaxing style to wear during the summer months are the Pandora leather bracelets. Pandora has released various colours and styles of leather bracelets and they look great worn alone or stacked. At Pandora Biscester the Single Woven Red Leather bracelet (No.590705CRD-S) is just £10! Alternatively the black leather bracelet with the Symbol of Freedom Dove pendant (No. 791350CZ) is £40.
After collecting for a while some Pandora fans decide to invest in a 14k Gold Pandora bracelet (No. 550702). Online and on the high street the 14k Gold bracelets are priced differently for each size. 17cm is £950, 18cm and 19cm are £995, 20cm and 21cm are £1,100 and 23cm is £1,250. At these prices many only dream of purchasing a 14k gold bracelet. Pandora Bicester can help your dream come true with the following offer: Any size 14k Pandora bracelet plus two 14k gold clips for £995! Even though this is an amazing offer it still is out of many people's budget but if you want to start adding some gold to your collection slowly there are 14k gold spacers are available for £30.
"You never can tell with bees"
So after seeing all these great offers of course I had to buy myself a little something! Recently I had bought a Disney Winnie-the-Pooh charm (No. 791566) and I wanted to find something to go with him. I settled on the Two Tone Bee Hive charm (No. 790577) which had an RRP of £80 but was £30 at Pandora Biscester. I think the bee hive goes perfectly well with Winnie-the-Pooh and it makes me think of all the scrapes he gets himself into trying to get to the honey. As he says "you never can tell with bees".
With all these great offers available at Pandora Bicester I'm sure many reading this article will decide to visit. If you are hoping to buy something in particular you can call ahead to check it is in stock on (+44) 01869 324631.
