Welcome to Collector’s Corner, a new feature on theartofpandora.com. Each week we will interview one PANDORA collector and learn about their collection. We will link to their Instagram account and hopefully it will be a nice way for our readers to find interesting new accounts on that platform too.
Collector’s Corner: Sierra @allthepandora
Opening the new series is the charming Sierra whose owns the Instagram account @allthepandora. Sierra started posting on IG in June 2017 and has already given us a glimpse into her beautiful PANDORA collection. Now we will discover a little more…
Hi Sierra, how long have you been collecting PANDORA jewellery?
I have been collecting PANDORA for over 10 years. I received my first bracelet and 3 charms from my aunt as a university graduation gift and I was immediately hooked. My husband and other family members have contributed greatly to my collection over the years but I also treat myself fairly regularly ??
You’re not the only one, I treat myself with PANDORA too! So Sierra, what made you fall in love with PANDORA?
When I began collecting PANDORA, it wasn’t as popular and widespread as it is now – at least not where I’m from – Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I loved that you could personalize your jewelry in a way so that no one else would have the exact same design. I also loved how you could get a charm to represent just about any occasion or interest.
You’ve been collecting for quite some time. Can you tell us about your collection?

Wow! Such an amazing collection and so well organised! Do you have any rare, or hard to find pieces?

They are gorgeous! What is your favourite piece of PANDORA jewellery?
Do you make up bracelets one by one, or do you keep your charms and bracelets separate and make up bracelets for any occasion?
I typically make up bracelets one by one and have several full ones as well as ones currently in the making. However, when I get bored with one particular bracelet I may take it apart and have fun redesigning it. I tend to use leathers and bangles for mini designs with just a few charms. These I play with and change more frequently than my full snake chain bracelets.
What is on your wish list?

There are a few newer pieces I’m considering purchasing – the PANDORA Rose Mesh Bracelet, when it is released, is a must. I will also probably buy the cute pink Cupcake to go with my recently purchased Coffee to Go and Popcorn charms. I’m also considering the PANDORA Essence Bangle.
Good picks. The PANDORA Rose Mesh Bracelet looks stunning and it’s on my wish list too!
What do you think of the direction PANDORA is taking in 2018?
So far I’ve been really impressed with the PANDORA Spring and Summer releases and have purchased several pieces from each collection – many of which I have shared photos of on my Instagram account. I really like that PANDORA seems to be creating fresh ideas and producing more charms that depict different hobbies and interests, including food. The newer Murano charms have all been gorgeous as well and I have grabbed up all of them.
What would you like to see from PANDORA in the future?
I would love for PANDORA to create a funkier, edgier collection with cute little skulls, dragons, dark stones and Celtic-type designs. I know other brands do this, but PANDORA is my favourite and I really think they could do it well!
I think that would be very popular with other collectors too.
PANDORA has a popular Disney range, is there a particular character you would like PANDORA to produce?
Thanks so much Sierra for taking the time to answer some of my questions and sending in your photos. It has been great to learn a bit more about you and your fantastic PANDORA jewellery collection!
