Hi everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022! I thought I would start the year with a blog post about wishes and hopes given it is a new year and a new beginning.

The last few years have been quite tough for many reasons with the pandemic impacting everyone across the globe so this year I am keeping my wishes and dreams small and manageable. But don’t let this stop you from dreaming BIG! This could be a year with many special milestones for you or a year where you look to make big changes. Or this could be a year of appreciating small miracles and moments. Whatever the year has in store for you, don’t forget to have some wishes and dreams no matter how big or small. 

Follow your dreams. They know the way.

I am using the Pandora Winter 2021 Collection with the star motif as I feel this represents the celestial significance of dreams, their ethereal nature and the way that they can seem as far away as stars but still shine bright. 

A dream is a wish your heart makes when you are fast asleep.

My absolute favourite charm from the Pandora Winter 2021 Collection is the Galaxy Blue & Star Murano (790015C00). These majestic charms have the sterling silver asymmetric stars that surround the sparkling and glittery blue glass. I feel like the glass encompasses the hopes, wishes and dreams we have and their presence in the stars among the galactic sky. 

When you wish upon a star your dreams come true.

Jiminy Cricket Walt Disney’s Pinocchio

I love how the Galaxy Blue & Star Murano fits so well with the other charms in this collection and also previous collection’s star charms. In particular, the swirling blues of the A Trip to the Galaxy Charm (790028C01). This charm reminds me of the big wide world and universe outside our own personal world. I think about the similar yet different experiences of the people out there in the world at any given time of any day. It reminds me of our broader significance as individuals in this universe. The beautiful crystals on this charm remind us all of our special place in the galaxy and how when we work towards our dreams we shine like stars.

Because I have dreams and in those dreams I see the stars.

Another absolute favourite charm of mine from the Pandora Winter 2021 Collection is the Snow Globe Angel Dangle Charm (790027C01). As a little girl I had a few winter scene snow globes that I treasured and this charm reminds me of that nostalgia. I love the symbolism of the way the snow globe is so beautiful when it’s tiny world is turned upside down. The angel with the heart in the centre of the charm also represents the people that have my heart and best interests in mind. Those are the people that I want to spend the most time with in 2022. 

Life is like a snow globe, often it’s prettiest after it’s been turned upside-down.

Don’t forget you can always style the charms that represent your dreams on the Pandora Key Chains too. This way you can carry your dreams and goals with you to work on your keys, or when you go out on your purse. I love to use charms as transferable objects to remind me of past or present experiences and I also like they to capture the hopes of my future. The tangible symbol on my wrist or keys is really important to be as it keeps these goals and hopes at the for front of my mind. 

I think the perfect bracelet to style this design on is the Pandora Moments Asymmetric Star Clasp Snake Chain Bracelet (599639C01). The sparkling cubic zirconia pavé stones in the star shaped clasp capture the sparkle that runs through the bracelet and tie the design together. This bracelet would look great as a stack on its own too! 

The other bracelet in this collection that I will be wearing a lot this year to remind me of my goals for 2022 is the Pandora Moments Stars & Galaxy Bangle (590009C01). Instead of a phrase it is engraved with stars and also has constellations on the clasp decorated with tiny clear cubic zirconia stones. This bracelet is gorgeous in it’s simplicity. 

The cute little Astronaut In The Galaxy Dangle Charm (790030C01) is a reminder to reach for the stars, even if their twinkle is dim and they seem so far away. Blue enamel illuminates the visor of the helmet and matches beautifully with the Galaxy Blue & Star Murano charms.
