Pandora Beautifully Different Collection

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection

A Limited Edition Pandora collection exclusive to the UK!

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection

A unique Limited Edition range exclusive to two UK Pandora stores!

Following the release of the China Exclusive Peach Blossom Collection, the UK now have their own special range! The Pandora Beautifully Different Collection is an intriguing group of jewellery featuring leftover Murano glass.

This exclusive collection will be available for two weeks from 8th to 28th August 2019 at the London Oxford Street and Leeds White Rose stores.

From Left Over Glass to Beautifully Different Jewellery

At a time when each of us personally needs to be aware of and reduce the damage we cause to the environment, it is encouraging to see big businesses do the same. Pandora have recently changed their packaging to reduce their environmental impact and I am delighted they have now created this range of jewellery to further curtail wastage.

Leftover Murano glass is gathered and remelted into new glass rods which are then ready to be cut into the correct sizes and shapes. The process creates unique patterns and swirls to the glass which is then carefully added to the jewellery by hand. Once set, the Murano glass is polished to perfection. The end result is Beautifully Different Jewellery!

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Shine & Green Murano Glass Ring (168158GMU)
€99

A simple circle of emerald green glass creates an elegant look against glowing Pandora Shine on the Beautifully Different Ring. Engraved discreetly on the inside of the band is the collection title, ‘Beautifully ♥︎ Different’.

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Rose & Red Murano Glass Ring (188158RMU)
€89

The red glass version of the Beautifully Different Ring is set in a pretty Pandora Rose band. The ruby tones create an autumnal look combined with the blush of Pandora Rose.

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Shine & Green Murano Glass Stud Earrings (268181GMU)
€79

In the same style of the ring, the Beautifully Different Stud Earrings feature gorgeous green Murano glass cut into circular shapes. The ripple pattern running through the glass looks stunning!

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Rose & Red Murano Glass Heart Stud Earrings (288139RMU)
€49

The red glass Beautifully Different earrings are shaped into cute little heart studs. Although I like the shape of these earrings more, I prefer the emerald green colour.

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Shine & Green Murano Glass Pendant (368154GMU)
€89

The Green Murano Glass Pendant is my favourite piece from the exclusive Beautifully Different Collection. It can be worn to display the chic and simple side or the incredible filigree heart pattern. A smaller disc hangs at the top and is engraved with the ‘Beautifully Different’ logo and a tiny glass heart.

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Rose & Red Murano Glass Pendant (388148RMU)
€69

The Red Murano Glass Pendant is slightly smaller than the green version, hence the difference in the filigree pattern on the reverse.

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Shine & Green Murano Glass Charm (768152GMU)
€69

The only charms in the Beautifully Different range are both button shaped with the green version having an almost squished look to it. Circular Murano glass faces both sides and the edge is decorated with an intricate heart pattern.

Pandora Beautifully Different Collection
Pandora Rose & Red Murano Glass Heart Charm (788140RMU)
€59

The red version of the Beautifully Different charm is heart shaped like the matching earrings. Again the edge of the charm is adorned with a pretty pattern of love hearts.

The Limited Edition Pandora Beautifully Different Collection will be available for two weeks from 8th to 28th August 2019 and exclusive to the London Oxford Street and Leeds White Rose Pandora stores.

I love the fact that Pandora have created beautiful jewellery from left over Murano glass. Although the collection is limited to the UK and only available for two weeks, it is exciting to see what other innovative ways Pandora will reduce their way environmental impact. My favourite piece from the collection is the Beautifully Different Green Murano Glass Pendant. What is your favourite? Share your thoughts in the comments below…

I like the way they look but honestly can’t believe the audacity of Pandora basically calling it recycled Murano and then charging that much for it..

Dora

Hi Lila,

Thank you for commenting on the blog smile

I will be interested to see where Pandora go with this concept. It’s the first time I have known a collection being limited to two stores in one country.

To be honest, I am looking at being in London on August the 8th and getting the green pendant.

I think if Pandora have limited numbers they should sell out, and value wise they should hold their value and become quite collectible. I doubt we will see them in future sales.

Have a great weekend,

Dora 🎀

It’s a shame it is limited to just two stores and for such a short time. We can’t all travel to either Leeds or London, the cost to do that for me would be extremely expensive. Why can’t they sell it online so that the whole UK has a chance to own some of these beautiful pieces. I particularly like the red and rose collection as I’m not a fan of the Shine. Shame they didn’t do a blue collection in silver, that would be stunning.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for your comment. It is an interesting decision, to sell these in just two stores, for sure. I think It will add to the desirability and collectability for the range.

Blue Murano glass in silver would be stunning! I hope they do that in the future, hopefully somewhere nearer to you wink

I thought that the green was malachite until I read that it was glass; I would rather it was in silver than gold. I agree with Lila that this collection is rather expensive for recycled glass eek . I’m not too far away from Leeds, just the other side of the Pennines, but I don’t think I’ll make a special trip for this collection, even though it will be available during my birthday razz .

Hi Pat,

That’s a shame, Leeds is such a lovely City to visit for the day silly

I am planning to get the Shine green pendant from the London store on the 8th. I think it might become quite collectible and will hold its value rather than being immediately discounted.

Have a great weekend,

Dora

For my birthday, we usually save our Tesco vouchers and trade them in for 3x face value at Goldsmith’s and one year we did end up having to go to the White Rose Centre as what I wanted was only available there, so you never know, we might end up going for that . We had to go to Bradford a couple of years back but unfortunately the Bradford Goldsmith’s has closed down , shame as hubby likes Taco Bell and they have one there so it’s easy to persuade him to go . Oo, maybe they have a Taco… Read more »

No Taco Bell but there is a Chiquito at the White Rose Centre, so it might happen after all grin .

Dora

Hi Pat,

Haha, yes I did a little google search and noticed the same thing. I saw there is a Taco Bell at the St. John Centre near to the Cathedral.

It sounds like it is all coming together.

Yes, I saw that too but not sure how far apart they are hmm , but it might be worth a walk over question . I’m pretty sure that there is a big car park at the White Rose Centre, like the Trafford Centre, so maybe we could leave the car and walk over, hubby doesn’t like driving to different places shock . It’ll be the 19th or 20th if we do go grin .

Just looked on Google maps and they are 4 miles apart eek , so that’s not going to happen razz .

Hi Pat,

There is a German man who recently commented on this page regarding using a gift card and ringing the store. Might be worth a look?

I saw these being previewed on the Pandora UK website the other day. I find it really interesting that they are only releasing them at two stores.
I think they all look beautiful pieces.

Yes, they. Are beautiful pieces. It is interesting How they are releasing them, it definitely builds anticipation.

I think there is going to be a piece in the Sunday Times Style section this weekend or next. I am looking forward to reading about it.

These items look pretty. Great gimmick to ensure sales, limited and recycled!

Hi Jen,

Yes, the items are lovely. I am not sure limiting to two stores ensures sales, but it does add an extra layer of exclusivity. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

well, Pandora often tries out new ideas that aren’t available everywhere at first, like the Rose, Shine and Essence collections. Plus having it very limited at first makes everyone want it, thus driving up demand.

In my view, Pandora simply uses leftovers to earn more money, which is clever. After all, that´s what businesses do, don´t they? However, I find it somewhat insulting that they try to sell us the environmental issue. That´s taking for granted that customers are fools and I am not. I see nothing bad in using their leftovers, I would do the same if I had my own business but I won´t buy the idea of any great company worrying that much about the environment. On top of that, this new line comes only in Rose and Shine, which makes it… Read more »

Dora

Hi Ana, Thanks for your comment. Maybe it was me talking up the environmental impact of recycled glass more than Pandora. In their own preview on the UK website they don’t mention the environment. I think you make an interesting point though and I will do more research on this if I buy something from this range and review it. Glass is 100% recyclable without loss of quality or purity. But I am not sure if using recycled Murano glass is going to be cheaper for Pandora than using new glass. This is the paradox with recycling glass (and I… Read more »

What a beautiful collection both pendants and charms would have been my choice. The cost and a 4hr round trip to Leeds would make this too expensive for me. How sad that Pandora have chosen not release the collection on the web site but limited the collection to only 2 shops for the whole of the UK. If the this collection was on the web site it would allow all Pandora collectors to have a chance to buy form this the collection not just those who can get to one of these 2 shops.

Dora
Dora

Hi Lynda, I agree that it is a beautiful collection. I am not sure what Pandora’s intention are with regard to choosing just two shops to sell it in. I am not sure how limited the collection will be. The Pandora website states that it is available in those two stores until August 28th, it doesn’t state what happens if there is leftover stock after that date. Maybe a e-store release would be possible at that point? I really don’t know though. There will likely be people on the Facebook groups willing to get it for people. You could lookout… Read more »

Seems to be some sort of reason to make everyone travel to these 2 places , who else is benefiting? Transport.

If it’s glass how comes we can’t see in the pics. just looks Matt.
Love the colours, but I hope they look better than in the pics, there’s no shine.
I’m waiting for someone to post photos

I’m bummed they aren’t available here. The exclusivity of it makes me, too, think they will sell out quickly and never reach other countries. My favorites are the green and Shine pieces too. If it’s reprocessed, is it still Murano Glass? Wouldn’t matter to me, I like the “squished” look that gives it a tiger stone like quality. A real shame the rest of us don’t have access. I would have probably bought the green. Not as keen on red with the Rose.

Dora
Dora

Hi Deborah,

Thanks for your comment. I understand that they are using left over Murano glass from the artisans and reprocessing it into new glass rods. They say it is still Murano glass.

I am looking forward to seeing it in person and being able to review it. I suspect this could be the beginning of a new new range if it is received well.

Have a great day,

What if you are nowhere near London nor Leeds?

Dora
Dora

Hi June, Thank you so much for commenting on the blog In answer to your question, and assuming that you are interesting in buying at least one of the exclusive items, I would make the following suggestions: 1) Travel to London or Leeds, make a day trip of it. See the sights, take in a show. Buy some Pandora as a souvenir of what will have been a lovely day and cherish it for the rest of your life. 2) Ask a friend to buy it for you. Someone who lives in, or near to, either city. Find someone on… Read more »

I’m keen on the Limited Edition Charms.
I was wondering which of the 2 stores I found at Oxford Street will carry them?
If I by chance can convince a friend who will be around London during this time to get them for me, I don’t want him to run from shop to shop (men, you know😉)

Is it Marble Arch or Oxford Circus?
Who can help?

Thanks in advance

Dora

Hi Manuela,

It is the Store at Oxford Circus. There is a google map on the UK Pandora website under their own preview which shows it clearly.

Aw when I was a real Pandora fanatic, this would have been so exciting, we would have planned a day out or a weekend away around getting one of these pieces! But Rose and Shine are not for me. I like the concept of the glass though.

In the pics they don’t look like shiny glass.
I hope they are shiny though.
What if we go and then they run out? You’ve paid the expensive travel and they don’t have the one you have. If we could ring and ask before travelling

This effort to recycle explains why they are taking back old charms for trade-ins; they’ll melt them down and reuse the silver.

Dora
Dora

Hi Shelia,

This is very interesting, I have not ever heard of this so would be interested in hearing more details.

However, from my understanding of how this process works I believe that Pandora are using left over glass from Murano artisans and taking those waste pieces are remaking them into glass rods for the Pandora Murano artisans to make this collection (Source UK Pandora website).

Lovely to hear from you, have a great week,

Hey there,

my girlfriend loves the new rings of this exclusive collection. But we are from Germany.
I also called the Pandora Shop in Leeds and the kind Lady on the phone told me to purchase an Online Gift Card, then it would be possible to ship a ring from the UK to Germany.

Does it work really work that way? And if so, how do I do it? Can you somebody help me? smile

Thank you very much!

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your comment and working so hard to find Pandora for your girlfriend.

I have not heard of this gift card idea working, but it it works it will be quite exciting for many people who, like yourself, live in different countries.

I will look into it and see what I can find out.

Hi Daniel, In follow up to my last comment I think this is what you need to do. Buy an e-gift card here not the other gift card that can be sent in the mail. Then call up the contact at the store and use it to redeem the Pandora you are trying to buy. I hope you have the name of the assistant you spoke to as Pandora do not usually send outside of the UK. If you have problems sending outside the UK after you have purchased the gift card I promise to help you out and have… Read more »

This looks nicer in person and you can really see the difference in colour in all of them. I ended up with both pendants, both charms and the rose earrings. I think I may have to go back for the rose ring, just a shame the ring is not heart shaped to match the earrings and charm. Took me awhile to pick the colours I wanted but it was good fun

Hi Sam,

Thanks for your comment. Your collection of Beautifully Different jewellery sounds wonderful. You have done well to collect these pieces. I was in the Oxford Street store on 8th, the day they launched, and the sales assistant told me that the green pieces were nearly sold out. I picked a green pendant and there were only 6 left in the store toward the end of the day.

Have a nice evening,
