PANDORA Disney Parks Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse Partners Charm
The famous due, Walt and Mickey are paired together in their iconic ‘Partners’ pose in this PANDORA Disney Parks Dangle Charm. The Partners Statue has been replicated many times in Disney memorabilia and PANDORA have created a fantastic charm which depicts all the statue’s detail. The original Partners Stature was created at Disneyland Park in 1993 to celebrate Mickey Mouse’s birthday. In 1995 another Partners Statue was unveiled at Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort in front of some of the famous Disney Castles.
Here are 5 fun fact of the beloved Partners Stature, courtesy of Disney Parks:
1. The Partners Statue was sculpted by Disney Legend Blaine Gibson. A former Disney animator and Imagineer, Blaine took one year to create the sculpture and based his depiction of Walt on a bust he originally created in the 1960s.
2. When considering having Mickey hold Walt’s hand, Blaine consulted footage from the film “Fantasia,” in which Mickey shakes the hand of orchestra conductor Leopold Stokowski.
3. One early sketch of the Partners Statue featured Mickey holding an ice cream cone in one hand.
4. When choosing an expression for Walt’s face, Blaine tried to reflect Walt’s goal of making people happy. The statue’s expression is Blaine’s interpretation of Walt watching happy people enjoy the park.
5. The initials on Walt’s tie are “STR,” and stand for “Smoke Tree Ranch,” an area in Palm Springs where Walt once owned a vacation home.
PANDORA Disney Parks ShellieMay Bear Charm
The PANDORA Disney Parks ShelliaMay Charm was an instant favourite when it was orignally released in 2017 at Disneyland Tokyo. Since then many collectors have desperately been trying to locate one. Now she is available with the Disney Parks Spring 2018 collection!
The PANDORA Disney Parks ShelliaMay Charm is based on the cute Disney bear and features pretty pink enamel details on her bow and name tag. Notice the little Mickey Mouse icons on her feet!

Hoorah! The PANDORA Disney Parks Fantasyland charms from Spring 2017 are also available once again as separate charms!
The PANDORA Disney Parks Carousel is very similar to the older two tone Carousel charm but with the addition of a little Disney magic! The Mickey Mouse ears sit on top of the charm in gold and the Mickey silhouette is stamped around the side.

The PANDORA Disney Parks Dumbo Charm is one of my favourites! He is super cute in his little blue enamel hat and blanket and I love how his chubby legs are raised and his pink enamel ears are raised in flight.

Finally…
Starting in April PANDORA will be joining the magical world of Disneyland Paris.
The first PANDORA point of sale, called “Hollywood Jewel Box” will be installed in the Walt Disney Studios Park, and will be inaugurated on April 7th.
To celebrate there are two new charms which will only be available for purchase in the European Disney park and nowhere else. The first is a blue and silver Sleeping Beauty Castle, which is an iconic symbol of the fairytale world that towers at the center of the park.
The second which is my favourite is a pendant charm with Minnie and the Eiffel Tower! A perfect to bring home as a souvenir of your trip to Paris.
