Pandora creates a unique gift for Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark…
Pandora Fit For a Queen
To mark the 80th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Pandora created a unique piece of jewellery, a brooch, which Senior Vice President of Global Product Stephen Fairchild delivered to the Royal Palace for the Queen.

Inspired by Her Majesty’s love for daisies and H.C. Andersen’s fairy tales, this one of a kind brooch, resembles a bike and is made from recycled gold and silver. Included in the special gift are 42 man made diamonds. A bicycle design was chosen to symbolise Her Majesty’s love for travelling and Denmark’s bicycle culture.
“When creating this gift for Her Majesty we wanted to make something personal, playful and a little out of the ordinary.”
Stephen Fairchild,
Senior Vice President of Global Product at Pandora
The Pandora Senior Vice President of Global Product, Stephen Fairchild explains the gifts design; “When creating this gift for Her Majesty we wanted to make something personal, playful and a little out of the ordinary. The motif of the bicycle on daisy flower wheels is made as atribute to Her Majesty’s creative, curious and joyful spirit that makes her the beloved Queen she is.”
Stephen Fairchild also added, “Her Majesty is very fond of H.C. Andersen, so on the back of the brooch is his famous quote ‘Life is the most wonderful fairy tale of all’”.

I am sure Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark will be delighted with this special brooch from Pandora. Hopefully we will spy her wearing her unique Pandora accessory soon!
