REVIEW: Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm

Besides being my personal highlight from the Pandora Winter 2021 Collection, the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00) was my favourite Murano charm from 2021. This outstanding charm is the result of a combination of beautiful glass and a decorative silver core.

Dora Explores: Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm

In the last few years Pandora have produced a few Murano charms featuring decorative cores, such as the Iridescent Murano Glass (787576) and the Pink Murano Glass & Leaves (788244) charm. Whilst I love both of those charms I am pleased to have the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00) as a stunning silver core Murano option.

Each Murano glass charm is unique and thus the colours and patterns within each Pandora Murano charm will differ. The Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00) reflects the beauty of the night sky with its midnight blue glass featuring silver specs of glitter and clear bubbles.

Either side of the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00) is encased in a stunning decorative core. Three small and large cut out stars adorn the sterling silver core on each side of the glass. The normal Pandora hallmark for silver jewellery, “S925 ALE” and “PANDORA” are engraved on one side of the threaded core.

Viewed from above, the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00) appears to have dark blue glass. Yet from the side it is discernible that the charm has a navy blue painted centre with clear glass above, creating a beautiful layer effect.

My first styling with the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00) is a full design set on the elegant Pandora Moments Sparkling Pavé Clasp Snake Chain Bracelet (590723CZ).

Titled “Celestial Dreams”, the bracelet design is filled with heavenly wonderment as depicted with the Pandora 20th Anniversary Stars (799119C00), the retired two tone Night Sky (791371CZ) and the Blue Galaxy (796361NCB) charms. The Galaxy Blue & Star Murano is placed at the centre, with the retired Starry Night Murano (791662CZ) and the Wavy Dark Blue Murano Glass Ocean Charm (798938C00) creating balance on either side of the bracelet.

Beautiful but slightly bizarre celestial dreams start from the bed of the Princess and the Pea (790320) and end up soaring through a star filled sky as Cosmo Tommy (797561CZ) the astronaut flying on a silver Aeroplane (790561).

For me stars and snowflakes often seem to have similar shapes. So it was only fitting to create a snow theme for my second styling with the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm (790015C00).

This fun mini design is set on the pretty Pandora Moments Stars & Galaxy Bangle (590009C01) which I received as a free gift with purchase in December 2021. The Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano is positioned at the centre of the bracelet with the Disney x Pandora Let It Go (791596) and Frozen Snowflakes (791563CZ) charms on either side. Next the Heart of Winter Dangle (796373CZ) and Disney x Pandora Frozen Olaf Dangle (798455C01) create balance on each side of the design. These charms are wonderful compliments for each other as the Heart of Winter Dangle is engraved with the message “You melt my heart” and Olaf loves warm hugs!

Shimmering shades of blue continue through the design with the Wintry Delight Charm (796357EN63) and the Blue Dazzling Snowflake Charm (796358NTB) and the styling is completed with the Clear Pavé Clips (791817CZ) on either side.

My verdict on the Pandora Galaxy Blue & Star Murano Charm?

Out of this world!
