REVIEW: PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm
A girl without a bow is not a girl
The combination of pink, lace and a bow make this a darling charm.
The PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm (N0. 792044ENMX) is the definition of all things girly! The Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm was released as part of the PANDORA Valentine’s Day 2017 collection.
When I first saw the stock images of the PANDORA Valentine’s Day 2017 Collection the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm caught my eye. I do not think of myself as a girly girl and in fact only recently acquired my first PANDORA Heart charm, yet this charm seemed to be the perfect combination and has a classic lady-like feel to it.
A few PANDORA fans have been concerned about the true colour of the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm. In this photo you can see the main ‘Rose Pink’ colour of the charm is very similar to the PANDORA logo on the ribbon. In my stylings you can see the charm compared to the PANDORA Light Pink and Honeysuckle Pink Double Leather Bracelets as well as the pale pink of the Cherry Blossom Murano.
The lace detail on the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm is underneath the enamel finish. This creates an interesting depth to the charm and looks pretty as the light traces the lines of the design. The enamel of the bow is a very pale pink and the contrast in the two colours lifts the bow, making it more eye-catching.
When I saw the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm in real life, I was surprised at how glossy the charm was. In the stock images the charm looks a little dull but the shimmer and gloss of the enamel really make the charm special. The Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm is a threaded charm and as such has a nice weight to it.
For my first styling of the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm I choose a flowery, girly theme on the silver PANDORA Moments Bracelet. The Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm looks pretty centred between the Darling Daisy Spacers and the Field of Daisies and Cherry Blossom Muranos. Unfortunately it is proving harder to locate these sweet, classic murano charms. The Field of Daises Murano (No. 791623) is now retired but it is available in limited quantities from BeCharming.com for $45.
To the side of the bracelet you can see the Pink Petite Facet charm. The pink of the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm works well with various shades of pink. I think it would gorgeous with the Blooming Dahlia Clip (No. 791828NBP).
One of my favourite stylings of the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm was worn simply between two Wild Flowers Murano Charms (No. 791638CZ) on a PANDORA Bangle. The pink and green look refreshing and spring-like together.
In this styling I symbolise my love for Winnie-the-Pooh and Eeyore, with the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm placed between the two on the Light Pink Double Leather Bracelet. The Rose Pink of the Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm and the Light Pink of the Leather Bracelet are notably different but look charming together.
If you are interested in seeing more stylings of the Eeyore charm, make sure to read my review on the adorable charm.
As I mentioned earlier, I have only recently acquired a PANDORA Heart Charm, but now I have three! I love the simplicity of this design of the three Heart Charms in a row. The almost icy blue of the Leather Bracelet looks stunning against the Rose Pink of the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm.
On my final styling of the PANDORA Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm I had a little fun twisting the Light Pink and Honeysuckle Pink Double Leather Bracelets together. I really love this styling as it is fun, fresh and feminine!
My verdict on the Pink Bow Lace & Heart Charm? It's won the key to my heart!
