A heavenly charm with sparkling silver orbiting a vibrant royal blue crystal!
The glitzy Galaxy (791388CZ) charm has been a favourite of mine for a while and I use it frequently on my bracelets, necklaces and Compose Earrings. When I first saw the PANDORA Royal Blue Galaxy Charm (796361NCB) from the Winter 2017 collection, it was an immediate must-have piece! It is even more stunning in real life and the electric blue is perfect for this seasons trends.
Both the PANDORA Royal Blue Galaxy charm and the previous Galaxy charm have the same criss crossing design of shining silver and clear cubic zirconia stones. The Royal Blue Galaxy version is slightly larger than the original Galaxy charm as it has the royal blue crystal at it’s centre.
The rich royal blue crystal glints and gleams as the angled facets catch the light. The overall effect is spectacular and produces a stately quality that would add elegance to any design.
The normal PANDORA hallmarks, ‘S925 ALE’ and ‘PANDORA’ are one one side of the Royal Blue Galaxy charm and the other side is plain.
If you look very carefully at the Royal Blue Galaxy charm, you will notice that there is a thin hairline opening across the silver pattern. This is where the silver work has been sealed around the crystal that is encased inside. It is barely noticeable to the naked eye and highlights the amazing craftsmanship involved in producing PANDORA charms.
The PANDORA Royal Blue Galaxy charm is a threaded charm and is relatively weighty due to the crystal centre.
My first design with the PANDORA Royal Blue Galaxy is fit for a princess with it’s Cinderella blue and fine rose gold. The sapphire like blue of the Royal Blue Galaxy charm is absolutely sensational mixed with PANDORA Rose charms on the Smooth PANDORA Rose Bracelet Clasp (580728). The Royal Blue Galaxy matches perfectly with the Wintry Delight charm (796357EN63) with it’s lustrous blue enamel. The enthralling Celestial Mosaic charm (796400MMB) contributes to the cosmic feeling in this heavenly design.
I really love my second design with the Royal Blue Galaxy charm. In fact, I think it’s facetastic! As the PANDORA Royal Blue Galaxy charm is essentially a Petite Facet with a encased in a Galaxy charm, it works wonderfully well with other Petite Facet charms and the Encased in Love charms. I wonder if PANDORA will produce different colour versions of the Royal Blue Galaxy charm, as they did with the Cerise Encased in Love charm (792036NCC).
My third styling is full galactic with a trio of galaxies! The Royal Blue Galaxy charm appears ultra radiant in between the two Galaxy charms. The Mesh Bracelet (596543) is perfect for this look as it is incredibly lightweight the net like texture compliments the weaving lines of the Galaxy charms.
For my final styling I created a blue and gold wintry fairytale. The Royal Blue Galaxy, Wintry Delight and Blue Dazzling Snowflake (796358NTB) adds blazing blue pops of colour amongst dashes of glitter and gold. My precious Fairytale Fish (792014CCZ), the Golden Nightingale (791114) and the sparkling Majestic Swan (791732cz) represent various fanciful tales. The PANDORA Disney Carousel (792125), Disney Frozen Snowflake (791563CZ) and Limited Edition Disney Mickey and Minnie Love Icon (796463CZ) charm add some wonderful Disney magic!
