Dora Explores: Pandora Shimmering Narwhal Charm

A symbol of protection, freedom and wisdom the narwhal features a striking horn. Happily the long tusk on the Pandora Shimmering Narwhal Charm (798965C01) is slightly rounded on the end so won’t damage your wrist! Large circles outline the narwhals friendly eyes and his wide mouth is set in a soft smile.

Overall the Pandora Shimmering Narwhal (798965C01) charm has a rotund shape but it’s little tail curls upward in a flip. Tiny fins on either side of the narwhal support his tubby body.

A glossy deep blue enamel has been hand applied over the top of the Shimmering Narwhal creating a stunning ombre effect. The highly polished treatment of the charm illustrates the mammel as if seen glistening as its swims through the ocean.

Recently I have noticed that Pandora have been more discreet in the placement of their hallmarks. The regular Pandora hallmark for silver jewellery, ‘S925 ALE’ is engraved on the non-threaded interior of the Shimmering Narwhal (798965C01).

Inspired by a Disney Cruise I was unable to take this year, my styling with the Pandora Shimmering Narwhal (798965C01) is set on the Disney x Pandora Sparkling Mickey Mouse Snake Chain Bracelet (590731CZ).

Shining at the centre of the design is the spectacular Murano Glass Sea Turtle Dangle (798939C01). While the Sparkling Palm Tree (791540CZ) and Shimmering Dolphin (798947C01) dangle charms create balance on opposite sides of the bracelet. Captain of the cruise ship, Steamboat Willie (797499CZ) travels with his beloved Minnie Mouse (791587) and pals Donald (792136) and Daisy Duck (792137).

A combination of the Aqua Blue Waves (797098NAB) and the Wavy Dark Blue Murano Glass Ocean (798938C00) charms mimic the colours of the ocean. The fabulous four have packed the essentials, the Disney Parks Suitcase (797997ENMX), Mickey’s bear Duffey and of course a Vintage Camera (791709CZ) to capture the fun moments! Using the star on the Disney Frozen Snowflake (791563CZ) openwork as their guide they make their voyage across the sea.

My verdict on the Pandora Shimmering Narwhal Charm? It makes a big splash!
