REVIEW: Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set

Follow the way of the Mandalore with the Limited Edition Star Wars x Pandora Mandalorian Gift Set.
One of my Pandora highlights for 2021 was the Limited Edition Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set (B8SW00) which was released for on the 21st November 2021 for a finite time.
The set includes is presented in an attractive gift box and is comprised of three items: the Star Wars x Pandora Star Wars™ Clasp Double Black Leather Bracelet (540031C00), The Mandalorian Helmet Charm (740019C01) and the Grogu Charm (749253C01).
Dora Explores: Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set
The Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set is presented in a light grey cardboard with a tactile finish. It’s shapes resembles one of the ships from the Star Wars films and the front is embossed with the Star Wars x Pandora logo. The interior of the gift box is decorated with both the Star Wars and The Mandalorian logos.
The three jewellery items in the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set are set into a black trapezoid shape. Held at the top is the Star Wars x Pandora Star Wars™ Clasp Double Black Leather Bracelet (540031C00) with The Mandalorian Helmet (740019C01) and the Grogu (749253C01) charms nestled below.
Star Wars x Pandora Double Leather Bracelet
The Star Wars x Pandora Star Wars™ Clasp Double Black Leather Bracelet (540031C00) is made with a soft leather plait and a ruthenium-plated clasp. Both ends of the bracelet are encased in a smooth ruthenium-plated fitting and the clasp is embossed with the iconic Star Wars logo on each side. The bracelet is available in three sizes: 35cm, 38cm and 41cm.
The standard hallmark for plated Pandora jewellery, ‘ALE MET’, is stamped on the inside of the clasp on the Star Wars x Pandora Leather Bracelet.
One side of the clasp on the Star Wars x Pandora Leather Bracelet is engraved with ‘©LFL’, for Lucas Films Ltd.
The other side of the ruthenium-plated clasp on the Star Wars x Pandora Leather Bracelet is engraved with ‘PANDORA’.
Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Helmet Charm
The Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Helmet (740019C01) is possibly the coolest Pandora charm to date! Armour is a very important part of a Mandalorian’s identity and is traditionally made from beskar which is notable for its high tolerance to extreme forms of damage. The ruthenium-plated charm perfectly resembles the gun metal grey of the beskar helmet.
A T-shaped visor to conceal the face, is a common trait of a traditional Mandalorian helmet. This is beautifully depicted with glossy black enamel on the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Helmet (740019C01) charm. The Pandora logo is engraved above the hole on one side of the charm.
The bottom of the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Helmet charm is engraved with the phrase, “THIS IS THE WAY”. This refers to The Way of the Mandalore, a religion followed by orthodox Mandalorians. Those Mandalorians would state “This is the Way” when following its ideals. Other details include raised lines and a macrobinocular nameplate on the back of the helmet.
The normal hallmark for plated Pandora jewellery, ‘ALE MET’ is stamped inside the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Helmet charm.
One side of the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Helmet charm is engraved above the hole with ‘©LFL’, for Lucas Films Ltd. As with most plated charms, The Mandalorian Helmet charm has a smooth non-threaded centre.
Star Wars x Pandora Ruthenium Plated Grogu Charm
The Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set includes a special Limited Edition of the Grogu Charm (799253C01). Both charms are identical but the Limited Edition Grogu Charm (749253C01) is ruthenium-plated. The child Grogu features glossy black enamel on his big beautiful eyes and he stands with his hand outstretched as he uses The Force.
The smooth non-threaded hole is near Grogu’s large ears, at the top of the Limited Edition Star Wars x Pandora Grogu Charm (749253C01).
The Pandora logo and the normal hallmark for plated Pandora jewellery, ‘ALE MET’ are engraved on the back of the Limited Edition Grogu Charm (749253C01) alone with ‘©LFL’, the copyright for Lucas Films Ltd.
Like its silver counterpart, the Limited Edition Grogu (749253C01) charm is full of adorable detail. My favourite element are Grogu’s little frog like feet which can be seen peeking beneath his robe at the bottom of the charm.

I purchased the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set with the Star Wars x Pandora Star Wars™ Clasp Double Black Leather Bracelet (540031C00) in size 38cm. Normally I wear the smallest size Pandora Leather Bracelet, but this time I choose a larger size so both my husband and I can wear the bracelet.
Mando becomes Mandora as my husband wears the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set. The Star Wars x Pandora Star Wars™ Clasp Double Black Leather Bracelet is styled with both The Mandalorian Helmet and the Grogu charms. A silicone ring is placed underneath the charms to keep them positioned either side of the bracelet’s clasp.
The Mandalorian Din Djarin forms a close bond with the foundling Grogu and has the Armorer forge him a gift from beskar. In Book of Bobba Season 1 Chapter 5 we see that the Armorer creates lots of tiny beskar links. Later in Book of Bobba Season 1 Chapter 6 we see Luke Skywalker present Grogu with the finished product, a Grogu-sized chain mail made from the beskar links. Hence it seemed fitting to stack the Star Wars x Pandora The Mandalorian Gift Set with the ruthenium-plated Pandora ME Link Chain Bracelet (549588C00).

Summary
I am completely in love with the Limited Edition Star Wars x Pandora Mandalorian Gift Set! The design is super cool, especially with the ruthenium-plated finish which provides a lot of wow factor. As the set includes three items it is good value and all of the pieces are versatile, particularly the Double Leather Bracelet as it can be worn as a necklace too!
